Here are some tips that can help you have a hassle-free and efficient packing
Secure a "Fragile" Box
You have to secure your fragile items when moving. Use a durable and sturdy box when packing delicate items such as goblets and vases. Do not use a box that easily breaks or bends because you are putting your items in danger. Place some packing paper at the base of the box for protection. It is also much better to pack fragile items in small boxes to avoid shifting, especially when the movers begin transferring your items in and out of the truck. Remember to seal the edges and the bottom of the box with tape. Other moving companies offer moving boxes that come in all sizes. These boxes can be loaned from them and can be returned given that they're in good condition.
Pack the Essentials
It is always wise to pack an "essential" box. The essential box should include important items that you will need in your first couple of days in your home. Some of the items that you need would be changing clothes, toiletries, bed sheets. Your "essentials" box can also have some snacks and kitchenware if you intend to cook on your first day in your new house. You can also include knives and cooking tools if you will cook that day.
Keep Your Packing Essentials Within Reach
Your packing supplies such as scissors, packaging paper, tape, bubble wrap, and other packing supplies should be within your reach. When you are packing delicate items, it is better to do it on the floor instead of a table. This is important to avoid scratches that can be caused by some items. Packing fragile items is crucial to ensure that they will not break when they are loaded into the truck. Although there are different techniques used in packing fragile belongings, we highly recommend the bubble wrap method. This method is especially ideal for goblets, pitchers, or vases.

- Make sure that you have all the essential supplies you will need for packaging your fragile items. Start by measuring the size of your belonging. Place a piece of cardboard at the base of the box. Cut the cardboard to ensure that it envelops the item, leaving only a few inches for allowance.
- Put the bubble wrap between the item and the carton.
- Wrap the item tightly with bubble wrap.
- Put the item on the edge of the carton. Your fragile item should be securely placed where it would not shift inside the box. Wrap the cardboard as securely as you can.
- Lastly, put the fragile item inside the cushioned box. You should also fill in the gaps to prevent movement. You can also wrap the box with tape again for added security.
